This firm is expanding and growing at a rapid and exciting rate. Currently in the process of opening a new office, there will be a professional staff of 35 plus support staff. You will be comfortable working in a small team with big ambitions.
Based from the Guildford office, this firm is looking for a strong Associate Director or Director to lead the development of the office and wider business. You will have worked in the area in Private Consultancy, but ideally have some local authority development control experience.
The role will suit somebody determined, ambitious and looking for a challenge. Effort and work will be well rewarded with a healthy bonus structure on top of job satisfaction.
Clients are across a number of development sectors for this consultancy, including housing, commercial, mixed use, retail, leisure, minerals and waste. All aspects of planning from site appraisals and feasibility studies to appeals, LDF and EIAs are conducted.
My client is looking for a commercially minded planner who not only has the technical ability and strength to get involved in work, but who can also take responsibility for the management of more junior members of the team.
You will have a strong business development ability; must have the work winning attitude and be able to demonstrate what, how and when you would be able to win new instructions. It is important you can maintain current client relationships and develop new ones.
You will be MRTPI, and have a commercial and positive attitude. Salary is dependent on candidate experience and background, but will be in the region of £60,000, and there are considerable benefits including fully expensed mobile and company credit card, health insurance, pension, car allowance and discretionary bonus scheme.
