Hounslow’s Licensing Committee has designated its High Street and is looking for the right individual to research, develop and implement a new town centre market. Hounslow Council has been successful in securing Round Two Outer London Funding for both Hounslow and Brentford town centres. Over the next two years Hounslow’s Town Centre Manager team will be overseeing the implementation of two exciting public realm projects and the right candidate will contribute to bringing about a step change in Hounslow Metropolitan town centre.
This programme will offer the candidate an opportunity to demonstrate their project managing skills and abilities to help implement public realm initiatives and cultural programmes.Your role will also include support for the continued regeneration of Brentford and Hounslow town centres as well as the development and implementation of marketing and promotion campaigns.
You will need to be self-motivated, with good project management and excellent communication skills, experienced in engaging a wide range of business representatives and local stakeholders and delivering public realm initiatives. You must have knowledge and experience of the dynamics affecting the retail industry and other business sectors that have an impact on town centres.
Due to existing deadlines for implementation of projects, availability for a prompt start would be looked favourably upon, and the appointment will be subject to experience and demonstrated capability of the successful candidates.
