We are a successful practice of Town Planners and Architects who require an ambitious and experienced Planner to join our enthusiastic team in Manchester. Our principle client, McCarthy & Stone is the UK’s leading provider of specialised housing for the elderly and this exciting opportunity will allow the successful candidate to gain valuable development experience from land buying to final sale.
The successful candidate will have a recognised planning qualification, RTPI membership and proven experience either in the public or private sector. Development management and preferably appeals experience will be a key requirement. Excellent analytical and report writing skills plus self-confidence and a strong desire to succeed are attributes we are seeking. An ability to handle an individual caseload as well as playing a senior role in the team is essential. You will potentially travel to sites and meetings across the country but with emphasis on the Midlands/North.
