One of London's most progressive borough councils urgently require an Urban Designer to play a lead role in the development of major estate regeneration schemes.
Your primary function will be to provide design comments on large scale major applications for residential development schemes in conjunction with the production of detailed design advice and appraisal.
Additional technical components will involve production of residential design layouts, massing studies, design briefs, appraisals in conjunction with coordinating detailed design negotiation with developers, architects and consultancies etc.
Successful candidates will have acquired practical experience as an Urban Designer preferably from an architectural background within a public or private sector organisation in the UK. You must be proficient in the use of Sketch-up and photo shop preferably with 3D design.
