Strategic Planning Manager

A rare and outstanding opportunity has a arisen for a Strategic Planning Manager with one of the UK's leading property development companies.

This is a multi-faceted and challenging role that will require the provision of advice, guidance and recommendations on national, local and regional planning matters encompassing political and stakeholder analysis.

A key component will include production of written policy representations formally and informally inconjunction with assessing potential and existing schemes in relation to risk, pre-application advice, stakeholder consultations, and S106 negotiations.

In addition you will provide support on Political Affairs enhancing the organisations reputation within local, regional and national governent sphere's by contributing to corporate development strategy and subsequent promotion.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;This also includes representation at Trade Body Committee's, conferences and seminars in conjunction with responding to draft legislation by interpreting and identifying potential impacts. You will also seek to positively influence new policy with respect corporate strategy and vision.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Successful candidates will have acquired practical experience as a Senior Planner either client side or in planning consultancy from a development planning or policy background in the UK.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;In addition you must be fully adept at progressing mixed use schemes through the planning system from a strategic or development planning perspective by preparing / submitting applications, producing written policy representations, S106 or CIL negotiation.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Alternatively candidates who have lobbied local, regional or central governent in relation to Planning Policy would are also of interest.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;</p>
