Planning Policy Manager
Development Plans & Conservation
Full Time – 37 hours per week
Salary: £40,741 to £45,185
We are looking for someone with the drive and insight to take forward our challenging development plan agenda. You will be responsible for delivering the South Worcestershire Local Plan and associated planning policy work. You will play a key role in cross boundary working and bringing forward development proposals which range from strategic allocations to development within villages. Working in a beautiful area, you will be facing diverse planning challenges from the expansion of Worcester City to rural regeneration.
You will have recent experience in strategy development and plan making, alongside the ability to provide leadership and develop relationships with elected members, local communities and the development industry.
You will be managing a team of professional and technical staff dealing with policy and conservation responsibilities based in Malvern. We recognise talent and potential and therefore if you have the enthusiasm and capacity to deliver high profile projects against tight schedules apply now.
