We are looking for a planner for a short period to deal with planning and possibly tree applications. We need someone, preferably with previous DC experience, who can efficiently process applications with minimum supervision. You should, ideally, hold a degree or diploma in planning recognised by the RTPI.

Rutland has a very attractive rural environment, which includes 34 conservation areas and over 1700 listed buildings. The county also has a number of sites which generate interesting planning issues including two military bases, a high security prison, quarries and, of course, Rutland Water, with considerable leisure and tourist potential.

For an application pack please contact Rutland County Council, Catmose, Oakham, Rutland LE15 6HP.
