Architectural and Planning Services Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Revit experienced architect/technician to join an expanding consultancy in Somerset. You will be joining a company specialising in surveying, planning and design primarily in the retail sector.

This is a key appointment for the firm and we are looking for someone to take charge of and develop the company’s architectural business, for that you will need a good amount of commercial practice experience as well as your architectural degree. You will be working on feasibility studies, layout designs and interiors, contractor tenders, new builds and extensions and planning applications for a range of retail properties. As your team grows you will also be in charge of recruitment, mentoring, training and development.

We are looking for candidates who possess an architectural technology degree (or similar) and a Member of The Chartered Institution of Architectural Technologists (CIAT). You should also have strong AutoCAD (2D and 3D) skills, a good understanding of the planning application, building regulation and construction process.
