Maternity cover for minimum period of six months
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Development Management Team on a temporary basis. You will be dealing with a wide range of planning applications and appeals, giving advice to developers and other parties, and providing high quality customer care.
You will have, or be progressing towards, full membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) with a recognised degree or equivalent qualification or experience in planning. Also, you should have the skills to manage a challenging workload and prepare robust recommendations in accordance with service targets. Able to demonstrate good communication, negotiation, IT and report writing skills, you will have a creative outlook with the ability to work as part of a team or independently.
