An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a client side Head of Planning with a leading Developer.
You will be assigned to securing planning approval for developments that constitute one of the largest regeneration schemes in Europe.
This project will held-up as a land mark mixed use scheme encompassing in excess of 3000 residential units with leisure, commercial and community infrastructure components.
Your core responsibilities also include recruiting, managing and establishing a specialist planning team, management of external consultants and extensive liaison with the local planning authority, English Heritage, central government and politicians.
You will be the focal point for the provision of strategic planning advice, project managing the preparation / submission of masterplans, phased planning applications in conjunction with involvement in the negotiation of complex S106 agreements, discharge conditions etc and attendance at public enquiry.
Successful candidates will be MRTPI Accredited, have practical experience working at Associate Director, Director or as Head of Planning within a consultancy or a developer with strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
In addition you must have a strong track record delivering delivering large scale complex London based residential / commercial development schemes through the planning process.
This is supplemented by strong managerial capabilities, coordination of public inquiries, appeals with extemporary expertise leading negotiations with planning authorities, statutory consultee's, councillor's and politicians.
