The Development Management Team is looking for a qualified planner with minimum 2 years’ experience within a Local Government Management environment and will have managed their own workload including the processing, assessment and reporting of householder planning applications and ideally experience of national and local Metropolitan Green Belt policy. Responsibilities will include providing day to day planning advice to members of the public, assessment of planning application and when necessary, attending Planning Committee.
Applicants will have the ability to manage their own workload and meet targets, hold a planning or related degree and have excellent communication skills.
