The postholder will be expected to provide project management for the overall Local Plan programme, and lead on the process of assessing detailed site proposals. The postholder will take part in a variety of policy–making work, including the Public Examination and will need to be able to work on their own initiative and with the team to prepare an ambitious, but deliverable Plan for the district. Extensive experience in these areas is essential for this post.
This is a temporary post for 2 years, with the possibility of an extension to 3 years.
