£19,621 – £27,052 per annum
We are looking to recruit for a planning officer in our Development Management Service on a 12 month contract to cover maternity leave. The post is suitable for either an experienced officer or an enthusiastic planning graduate with previous development management experience. Applicants will need to demonstrate an ability to work under pressure to achieve performance targets whilst maintaining a quality service. Excellent communication skills are required as well as an ability to work as part of a team and the postholder must possess good computer skills. A driving licence and access to a car are essential requirements.
