Job: Senior Planner, Beach Baker Property Recruitment

An excellent opportunity exists for a Senior Planner to join the Leeds office of a hugely successful planning consultancy. You will be joining a lively office of 20 staff. The company focus on a wide range of planning and development areas including retail; urban design, environment, residential, town centre work, mixed-use and commercial which will provide you with an excellent range of experience.

The company have an established work load and varied client base. This position will have more of a commercial/retail focus than residential but candidates with direct planning experience (either from the public sector or from a consultancy) will be considered as long as they are at the right level. This post would be ideally suited to candidates that are MRTPI qualified or very close to achieving it with proven experience in the industry. A good grounding in development control would be advantageous and a sound understanding and genuine passion for planning and related issues is essential. You must have excellent report writing and presentation skills as well as being confident in client facing situations.
