A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for Director/Partner level planners in London to join a hugely successful, international, multi-disciplinary, property company with an excellent reputation in the market. The company provide expert management, agency and consultancy services across the residential and commercial markets with planning being a core area of their business.

You will be heading a 16 strong planning team who have built up an established client base including; developers, private land owners, hotels and public and charity organisations. Your role be varied and will make full use of your skill set. The team’s workload includes planning and development appraisals, public consultation, strategic planning, representations and development plans across the planning spectrum. You will also be managing the team, recruiting in line with the company’s growth strategy, providing support to junior members and contributing to the continual success of the firm.

You will ideally be MRTPI qualified and have experience of a post at a similar level, preferably from within the private sector. A working knowledge of the London Planning market would be extremely advantageous and candidates with good contacts/on-going business within the market will be particularly appealing. At the moment, candidates with a development/land managing background would not be suitable for this position. You should also have proven management capability, be able to demonstrate your ability to win and retain business and excellent organisation and motivational qualities. You will have a confident and professional character with a proven track record in client relationship building. You should thrive in a multi-disciplinary environment and have the drive and ambition to succeed as there is excellent career progression with this company.
