Job: Principal Planner, Calco Services Limited

Constant growth, both in the UK and overseas, has seen this leading multi-disciplinary consultancy continue to win prestigious projects, taking them from design through planning to construction. Their specialisms cover Urban Design, Masterplanning, Landscape Architecture and Regeneration dealing with a range of award-winning projects including major mixed use schemes in sectors as diverse as residential, leisure, healthcare and retail.

As the work continues to flow in the need has arisen for a Principal Planner, ideally with 4 to 5 years experience gained either within a private consultancy or in the public sector with particular emphasis on strategic planning. Based in their Surrey office, the Principal Planner will undertake a range of duties including co-ordinating planning strategy from pre contract stage, through the design process to completion.

You will be a full member of the RTPI with a recognised planning degree, possessing excellent communication skills and a positive ‘can do’ attitude. You should also have the ability to work individually and as a key part of a multi-disciplinary team.
