The successful candidate will be able to advise on the development of specialist policy areas, in order to ensure that an up-to-date strategic land-use planning. These specialist areas will involve one or more of the following activities:

Preparation and strategic implementation of the Regional Spatial Strategy and Sub-Regional Spatial Strategy.

Preparation and production of the Minerals and Waste Development Framework.

Contributing to the delivery of the Milton Keynes and South Midlands growth agenda.

Support the preparation and production of Local Development Frameworks in Northamptonshire. Commenting on strategic planning applications and development proposals.

Contributing to the production of other plans and strategies as appropriate.
