Our clients' have an immediate requirement for an experienced Retail Planner to join the planning team in Manchester.

The role involves advising on all aspects of town planning, but with particular emphasis on retail planning, and promoting mixed and retail based developments both in and out of centre, together with other development proposals including housing, commercial and leisure.

The successful candidate ideally should have 3 years plus experience in private consultancy and be RTPI or RICS qualified. The position is flexible dependant upon experience, but more experienced candidates (Senior Planner or Associate) preferred.

Candidates should have a good understanding of the planning system and have particular experience in promoting retail development. The ability to undertake retail need and impact assessments is essential.
