This Central London Borough is looking for a motivated Development Control/Planning Officer to work on a long-term contract.

As a development control/planning officer you will need to be able to process a wide range of planning applications as well as having effective consultation techniques. You must have detailed knowledge of relevant Town Planning legislation, practice, and government guidance and from this draft reports and documents in a clear and concise manner.

As an experienced development control/planning officer you will need to have a good knowledge development control and planning regulations and the basic methods of operation they adopt. It is essential you are an open person who can maintain a high standard of ethics and personal conduct.
