Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council is leading the way in the preparation of its Local Development Framework (LDF) and has recently been awarded a Commendation in the RTPI Awards.

The Borough has a wide range of planning challenges including major regeneration and housing developments. The area has a good quality of life and adjoins the North Yorks Moors National Park and includes heritage coastline.
