WYG appoints graduate waste and minerals planner

Tansy Bristow has been appointed as graduate waste and minerals planner in the Southampton office of consultancy WYG.

Bristow will support the minerals and waste planning and permitting team in providing policy advice and technical input to development plans, planning applications, EIAs and mineral safeguarding reports.

She is currently completing her masters in spatial planning from Oxford Brookes University.

Adrian Lynham, associate director at WYG said: “We are committed to developing our graduates as the future of our business and will support Tansy with the training she requires to develop her skills and competencies as a planner.”

Bristow gained a bachelors in geography in 2012 from Lancaster University and has previously undertaken work experience at Lancaster City Council and West Lancashire Borough Council.
