Buoyant demand for housing land has prompted Welbeck Strategic Land to carry out a series of internal planning promotions.

Strategic planning manager Andrew Hodgson becomes strategic land director and fellow strategic planning manager Charlotte Robinson becomes associate director.

Katherine Abberley is promoted from graduate surveyor to strategic planning manager.

Partner Adrian Bouch told Planning: “The driving force behind the improved performance and promotions is the shortage of housing and the shortage of housing land.

“Therefore there's an opportunity for us to join forces with land owners and promote sites for residential development. We manage investment partnerships on behalf of institutional clients.”

Welbeck Land recently established an investment partnership of £30m funds with clients of Aberdeen Asset Management and LaSalle Investment Management.
