Freya Turtle, Iceni
Freya Turtle has been hired by planning consultancy Iceni, along with two new assistant planners.

Turtle (pictured) joins the firm as senior planner after moving from consultancy GL Hearn, where she was senior development planner.

She has also worked as a planner at property consultancy Dalton Warner Davis.

Prior to becoming a planner, she worked as a junior account executive at Local Dialogue, a specialist planning stakeholder communications firm.

The team has also been joined by Emma Conwell and Sophie Hardy as assistant planners. Conwell arrives from Persimmon Homes South East where she worked in-house on strategic planning and regional policy, while Hardy joins from the London Borough of Barnet where she was a planning officer.

The appointments follow Iceni’s acquisition of Paul Drew Design in 2015, and the appointment of former planning minister Nick Raynsford as a consultant.
