Jeff RichardsTurley is looking to expand its planning team to take on an expected surge in regeneration and infrastructure work.

Turley's Bristol office director Jeff Richards (pictured) told Planning: “We are expecting lots of growth in the region.”

The Greater Exeter Strategic Plan and the West of England Joint Spatial Plan were “important documents” for the practice and would drive growth, he said.

“They will come with significant infrastructure investment that will create more opportunities for growth across all sectors: residential, commercial, employment, retail.”

Turley's Bristol office is one of the largest planning consultants covering the south west region. The firm also has a Cardiff office.

Turley is looking to expand its planning team of 20 staff in Bristol by taking on a director or associate director to support its growth ambitions.

“As well as looking for more town and city centre redevelopment and regeneration work, the new postholder could also nudge us into new areas such as the care sector", Richards added.
