Story Homes recruits Peniston for land acquisition role

Rosie Peniston has joined housebuilder Story Homes as a strategic planner.

Peniston joins from Gladman Developments where she worked as an assistant project manager, having started there as a land planner.

Her new role in the firm’s land team will involve helping the company to acquire sites for development in south Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Merseyside.

Story Homes chief executive Steve Errington said the appointment was part of a significant expansion in the North West.

The company is currently planning to employ 43 full time staff over the next year, with 100 in total created over the next three years, he said.

Peniston has a master’s degree in town and country planning from Manchester University.
