St Modwen appoints south west director

James WilsonDeveloper St Modwen has strengthened its residential planning and project management team by appointing a south west residential land director. 

James Wilson (pictured), a chartered town planner, is based at the firm's Avonmouth office and will focus on residential and mixed-use development projects across Wales and the south west.

He has over 15 years of experience in residential development throughout the Midlands and south west and joined from Persimmon Homes where he was land director for eight years. 

South west and south Wales regional director Rupert Joseland said: “James' experience will be invaluable as we look to develop and expand our successful regional portfolio.” 

St Modwen is currently working on major local projects including the Locking Parklands development in Weston-super-Mare; the regeneration of Firepool in Taunton and the Skypark development in Exeter.
