Sowerbutts joins expanding DTZ team

Rebecca Sowerbutts has joined property consultancy DTZ’s planning team in Manchester as a consultant.

Sowerbutts joins the team from her previous role as an assistant planner at legal firm Knights.

In her new role she will assist provide advice across the North West with a focus on clients including Royal Mail Group, the Education Funding Agency, and Land Registry.

Andy Teage, head of DTZ Planning in Manchester said: “As activity levels and opportunities increase in the sector, their appointments will grow our combined planning, residential and development consulting and team to 13.”

He said that growth was being driven by increased activity in the residential, higher education, public sector and corporate occupier sectors.

Sowerbutts has a master’s degree in town and country planning from the University of Manchester.

She started her career as an assistant planner for consultancy John Rose Associates.
