Shrimplin BrownPlanning consultancy Shrimplin Brown is looking to expand its business due to a growing order book.

The Woking based firm was set up in 2012 by directors Rob Shrimplin (pictured, left) and James Brown (right).

It is now looking to make its first appointment of a planner or senior planner to help deal with a rise in business.

A spokesperson for the firm told Planning: “The firm is looking to expand due to a growing workload. The market is very buoyant at the moment and it has been consistent enough for us to take the plunge.”

The new appointee would be expected to work on a range of projects in sectors including residential, retail, commercial, industrial, education, minerals and waste.

Shrimplin Brown currently works with housebuilders, institutions, landowners, developers and retailers.

The new role will involve working in tandem with the directors on larger schemes but taking full responsibility for smaller projects.
