Rural Solutions appoints strategic planning expert

Planning consultancy Rural Solutions has appointed a new board member.

According to the firm, James Del Mar joins as executive director from Knight Frank, where he was head of rural consultancy for the past eight years.

He has worked in rural planning and development for more than 25 years.

Rural Solutions said that Del Mar has specialised in areas including strategic planning and compulsory purchase issues.
