Multi-disciplinary consultancy RPS has appointed Dafydd Williams as principal planner in its Cardiff office.

Williams joins RPS from Mango Planning and Development in Bridgend, where he was an associate. He was previously a senior planner at consultancy DPP.

Darren Parker, operational director for the South West at RPS, said: “Dafydd’s appointment comes in response to an increase in demand for planning services across the South West and Wales.

“His skills and experience further strengthens our team at a time when we are experiencing the knock on effect of an upturn in the residential and retail sectors”.

RPS currently employs around 5,000 people in the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, the United States, Canada, Brazil, Africa, the Middle East, Australia and Asia.
