Richards takes director role at Turley

Planning consultancy Turley has appointed Jeff Richards as director in its Bristol office.

Richards joined the firm after 11 years at WYG, where he was also a director.

He brings experience of leading major residential-led development proposals as well as preparing environmental impact assessments.

He has also given evidence at a number of public inquiries for public and private sector clients, including evidence on housing supply and the judgement of the overall planning balance of developments.

Prior to joining WYG, Richards served more than two years as a planning officer at North Somerset Council.

He has a bachelor and a masters in town planning from the University of West England.

Turley's Bristol team, is led by Rob Peters, and has recently helped deliver city centre schemes in Bristol, Exeter and Swindon.
