Property developer expands planning team with new post

Property developer Country Estates Group has promoted Matthew Jeal to be director of both its residential division, Darcliffe Homes, and commercial division, Country Estates.

The planner will oversee all land and planning activities to help drive the ongoing expansion of the business in the Thames Valley region. Jeal joined in 2012 as land and planning manager.

Joint managing director Graham Denton told Planning: “Matthew will be instrumental in driving more projects as the business expands.”

Jeal (pictured) said: “The business has ambitious growth plans, particularly as we move further into the residential market.”

Darcliffe Homes is developing projects in the Thames Valley such as Theale, Rowstock and Spencers Wood. Country Estates builds and manages business parks in southern England.
