Andy FaizeyA property company is expanding its geographic spread thanks to the upturn in the economy.

Lioncourt Strategic Land, the land trading division of Lioncourt Homes, is spreading operational focus from the West Midlands and Staffordshire to the East Midlands and home counties.

Planner and strategic land director Andy Faizey told Planning: “We are looking to target areas in Leicestershire, Bedfordshire and Oxfordshire. The growing economy is throwing up opportunities.

“Last year we sold land for 470 plots with full planning permission and recently won a resolution to award permission for 800 homes in the West Midlands green belt.

“In recent months we have lodged three planning appeals and won cases in the High Court and Court of Appeal. Our reputation is growing.”

The firm is seeking to recruit a senior planner to take on its expanded portfolio of sites who will report to Faizey.

“The role will include appointing and managing consultant teams to deliver outline or full planning permission,” he said.
