Power joins Taylor Wimpey to lead planning

Struan Power Taylor WimpeyHousebuilder Taylor Wimpey has appointed Struan Power as its new strategic land and planning manager.

Power joins the firm from consultancy DLP Planning where he worked as a senior planner since May 2015.

His new role will involve liaising with Taylor Wimpey’s regional teams to ensure that business objectives are met on planning applications. In addition, it will see Taylor work with statutory bodies to help resolve technical and design issues on applications and strategies.

Before joining DLP, Power worked as a spatial planner at St. Albans City and District Council and as a policy planner for Three Rivers District Council.

He has a master’s degree in urban and regional planning from University of Westminster and a bachelor’s in human geography from University of Reading.
