Planning consultancy recruits to meet growth demands

Consultancy Nexus Planning has expanded its team with four new planners and three promotions to tackle town-centre strategies, retail planning and renewable energy.

Damien Cutting has joined the Manchester office from Trafford Council as a senior planner, while in Manchester, Justin Cove has been promoted from associate to associate director.

Jonathan Locke becomes principal planner in the Weybridge office, joining from Carmarthenshire County Council, and Claire Lindsay joins as a planner. She was previously a project adviser in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Also joining the Weybridge team is Fay Goodson as a graduate planner from from a planning consultancy in Cheltenham.

Zoe Knott has been promoted from graduate planner to planner in the Weybridge office, while Leanne Williams has been promoted from graduate planner to planner in the London office.

Nexus Planning managing director Roger Tustain told Planning: “This boost to our team is part of a fast-track growth strategy. We increasingly get appointed on more complex, demanding projects.”
