A planning consultancy is seeking to strengthen its team on the back of rising development workloads.

Bell Cornwell LLP partner Rebekah Jubb told Planning: “We are expanding, planning for progression and seeing workloads rise across all sectors.

“While there is an undoubted focus on housing, one area some clients are also looking at is future need for new, flexible office floorspace.

“This is particularly the case given the level of conversions of older office buildings into residential units taking place.”

The firm, which has offices in Hook in Hampshire, Exeter in Devon and Amersham in Buckinghamshire, wants to recruit senior and principal planners

"Bell Cornwell’s objective is to provide its clients with clear, realistic planning advice and a personalised service," said Jubb.

“New postholders will tackle planning across the board and across all sectors. They will work on a range of planning projects, including applications, appeals and development plan work".
