A planning consultancy has opened a new office to target the residential and commercial markets.

Nathaniel Lichfield & Partners (NLP) has cut the ribbon to the Thames Valley office. The firm aims to capitalise on the growing development market throughout the area.

NLP managing director James Fennell told Planning: “Thames Valley is set to be a major growth area and we hope to deliver that growth for housebuilders and commercial clients.”

Senior director Daniel Lampard (pictured) will head up the new office, based in central Reading, and has delivered several housing, leisure and retail schemes in the region.

He said: “We expect to see major developments, not least in the housing sector with the government wanting to see an additional 100,000 new homes in Oxfordshire by 2031.”
