Property consultancy Bidwells has added two new faces to its planning team.

Matt Richards (pictured left) has been appointed to the firm’s London office as divisional partner, joining from rival Savills, where he was associate director.

Eleanor Gingell joins as principal planner in the Bidwells’ Milton Keynes office from consultancy Pegasus Planning Group, where she was senior planner.

Mike Derbyshire, head of planning at Bidwells said: “We are delighted to welcome Matt and Eleanor to our growing team of planning specialists and look forward to their contributions to our current and future projects. Both bring outstanding records of successful delivery and proven skills.”

Richards worked as a planning officer in major projects for the former Mid Bedfordshire District Council, followed by a spell at consultancy Hepher Dixon, before it was taken over by Savills.

Gingell, a chartered planner, has a bachelors degree in environment and development from the University of Durham and a masters in spatial planning from Oxford Brookes University.
