Iannerelli joins Barton Willmore from environment watchdog

Planning consultancy Barton Willmore has expanded its Edinburgh office with the appointment of Stephen Iannarelli as senior planner.

A chartered planner, Iannarelli moves to the firm from his previous role as senior planner at the Scottish Environment Protection Agency.

Colin Lavety, planning director for Barton Wilmore said: “It’s a pleasure to have Stephen on board and we are looking forward to building on his diverse waste and environmental experience to enhance our existing offer”.

Among other previous roles, Iannarelli worked as principal planner at Kingston City Council in Melbourne, Australia, plus roles at consultancies Deloitte and Arup.

He has a master’s degree in town planning from Newcastle University and a bachelor’s degree in topographic science from the University of Glasgow.
