Cambridge property consultancy Cheffins has appointed a new planning officer to help deal with a rapidly expanding workload.

Toni Hylton’s most recent role was at development consultancy Atkins as a senior planner, a role she left in 2012.

Cheffins Head of Planning, Paul Sutton, said: "Our planning and development team has a full programme of new schemes under consideration and an increasing number of developments now on site – Toni has the wide breadth of experience needed to help guide these to a successful completion."

Hylton has previously worked as a community planner at East of England Planning Aid, a senior planner at St Edmundsbury Borough Council and in various roles including senior planner at the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.

She has a bachelors degree in town planning which she received from the University of Westminster in 1997.
