Hughes moves senior CBRE planning role

Lorraine Hughes, CBREChartered planner Lorraine Hughes has joined property consultancy CBRE as senior director in the UK planning team.

Based in London, she joins the team from rival firm Turley, which she joined as London planning director a year ago.

She will advise public and private sector clients on all aspects of planning from site appraisals to securing planning permissions and negotiating section 106 agreements.

Emma Davies, managing director of CBRE’s planning team said that Hughes had been appointed because of her extensive experience on large and complex central London projects.

Before joining Turley, she worked at consultancy Bilfinger GVA, and, prior to that, at consultancy ATIS REAL Weatheralls, which she joined as a graduate in 2005.

She has a master’s in town and regional planning from the University of Sheffield.
