Moss and Sowerbutts at Hourigan Connolly

Planning consultancy Hourigan Connolly has appointed Rebecca Sowerbutts as a senior planner.

Sowerbutts (right) joins the firm from Cushman & Wakefield where she was a consultant.

In her new role, she will take on responsibilities covering residential, mixed-use and commercial projects in the North West and West Midlands. In addition, she will assist with identifying strategic development opportunities.

Prior to working at Cushmans, she was a consultant in the Manchester office of property consultancy DTZ.

She joined that company from her previous role as an assistant planner at legal firm Knights.

Sowerbutts has a master’s degree in town and country planning from the University of Manchester.

She started her career as an assistant planner for consultancy John Rose Associates.

Hourigan Connolly has also promoted Beverley Moss (left) to associate planner.

She has worked at the practice since 2013, working on a number of major residential projects across the UK.
