Hirst moves to top role at Peter Brett Associates

Jane Hirst has joined consultancy Peter Brett Associates (PBA) as equity director of planning services.

Hirst joins the firm from Boyer where she was managing director, overseeing the launch of new development and heritage teams.

Hirst previously spent 20 years at Nathaniel Lichfield & Partners, where she became the firm’s first female director.

PBA chairman Keith Mitchell said: “As a highly experienced town planner, Jane will be vital to the continued development of our planning, development and economics teams, as part of our strategic plan for growth". 

Hirst started her career as a placement student at Ashford Borough Council, before moving onto a role as planning assistant at Newark and Sherwood District Council.

She has a bachelor’s degree in town and country planning from the University of Newcastle.
