Growth demands prompt Nottinghamshire council planning expansion

A Nottinghamshire council is seeking to expand its planning team in response to local growth demands.

Rushcliffe Borough Council said it is experiencing “a fast pace of growth”, with schemes such as the East Midlands Gateway logistics park “subject of significant ongoing expansion”.

To help tackle these demands, the council is looking to take on a new principal planning officer.
