Gosport promotes senior planner

Gosport Borough Council has promoted Mark bridge from senior enforcement and compliance officer to the post of principal development management officer.

The council's development management team totals six chartered town planners.

Head of development control Debbie Gore told Planning: “Mark is taking on 'bread-and-butter', everyday planning matters and major developments, from 10 houses up to bigger projects involving complex histories or issues.

"We are aiming to further expand and take on another senior planner in the near future.”
