Consultancy DLP Planning has appointed Adrian Hunter (pictured right) and Paul Jobson (pictured left) as director and associate director at the company’s Bristol office.

Hunter joins the firm from environmental firm Landmark Practice, which is also based in the city – where he served as principal planner.

Jobson joins from engineering firm Peter Brett Associates, where he was an associate planner.

Hunter also worked as principal consultant at environmental consultant Entec UK, after starting his planning career as a town planner at Reading Borough Council.

He will take over the leadership of the Bristol office from Tim Roberts who retires from the practice at the end of 2014.

Jobson previously worked at consultancy firm Baker Associates Consultants, where he worked on employment land and infrastructure, as well as planning obligations.

He began his planning career as a town planner in the strategic planning team at Swindon Borough Council.

He has both a bachelors and masters degree in town and country planning from the University of the West of England.

In addition to assisting with the management of Bristol Planning Team, he will also lead the newly formed public sector planning team at DLP.
