Crawley expands planning team with new policy recruit

Ian WarrenCrawley Borough Council has recruited a new planning officer to help drive policy issues on climate change.

Ian Warren (pictured) joins from Uttlesford District Council where he was a planning and building control support officer. While at the Essex council he completed a distance-learning MA in planning.

Warren, who takes the policy team up to five full-time planners, told Planning: “My man task right now is as lead officer working on a supplementary planning document for climate change.”

Senior planning policy officer Tom Nutt told Planning: “Ian will contribute to planning and environmental improvement issues.”
