Oxfordshire consultancy looks to recruit three planners

Jayne NorrisOxfordshire-based planning consultancy Edgars is looking to expand its team by up to three planners to help it tackle a jump in workloads.

Planning director Jayne Norris (pictured) told Planning: “As the residential market has grown so have we, but that growth also includes education and commercial work as well as housing.

“We are looking expand over the next three-to-five years and are due to move in the new year from Eynsham to Witney to an office with a fourfold increase in floor area".

Edgars is looking to recruit graduate planners, planners and senior planners, with Norris initially hoping to add three new staff to a team that currently numbers six planners.

Norris said that the firm's work covers a range of clients in the UK but is centred on Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and Buckinghamshire.
