A planning consultancy is hoping to target more retail development following the appointment of two new senior planners.

Dalton Warner Davis (DWD) has appointed Sally Miles as a partner and Serena Page as a senior associate. Both joined the practice from CgMs.

Planning partner Geoff Bullock told Planning: “Both specialise in retail, an area that historically we have not been strong in on the planning side.”

“They broaden our planning offer through the extensive experience advising a number of major clients such as IKEA and Costco.”

Miles told Planning: “I focus more on retail and wholesale and the last year has been more buoyant and more busy than I've known it in the past.”

DWD also promoted Barry Murphy to planning partner and late last year appointed Jake Barnes-Gott and Nick Bowen as senior planners from URS. Alex Chalkin was made assistant planner.
