Caroline Aylmer-Shanks has joined the Manchester office of consultant AECOM, where she will work on transport plans and assessments.

She moves from infrastructure consultancy SCP where she worked as a senior transport planner.

Her appointment, along with two others, expands the number of staff in AECOM’s North West development team.

She told Planning: “AECOM is well known within the industry, and this is an opportunity for me to work on development projects.”

Prior to SCP, Aylmer-Shanks worked as a transport planner at consultancy Mouchel.

She has a bachelors degree in geography from the University of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne.

Mark Edwards, regional director for AECOM’s North West development team, said: “We are delighted to have three more new staff join our development team which now has 18 professional staff focused on delivering private and public sector development-related projects.”
